These effective herbs are still used in the hill and village panchayats of Himachal Pradesh by the villagers for their livelihood. These medicines are brought from the village to the city to be sold. At present, consignments of medicinal Buransh flowers, Phegdi, Kachnar, Tryambalu, Lingad along with wild greens and other medicinal vegetables have reached the markets of Mandi district.
The most remarkable thing is that the villagers do not grow medicinal fruits, flowers and vegetables in any way, rather these medicines are plucked from rare forests and brought to the markets in the middle months of the year.

Apart from this, the people coming to buy these medicinal fruits, flowers and vegetables told that every year they buy medicinal Lingad and wild greens the most, due to which their health also remains good and they also save the cost of English medicines.

Suman and Kavita reached the vegetable market of Mandi district with medicinal Buransh flowers, Phegdi, Kachnar, Tryambalu, Lingad along with wild greens. They told that by eating Lingad and wild greens vegetables, diseases like TB and cancer are not affected and also for children Lingad is beneficial in avoiding the problem of high fever as well as many other serious diseases.
Seema and Pooja, who reached the vegetable market of Mandi district from Kataula and Kathayana villages, told that after a lot of hard work and cleaning, these medicinal fruits, flowers and vegetables found in the forests of Devbhoomi, they brought them to the vegetable markets of the city. These are medicinal flowers of Buransh, Phegdi, Kachnar, Tryambalu, Lingad as well as wild greens and vegetables found according to the season of Himachal. Sellers of these vegetables, Seema and Pooja, told that you will not get sick by consuming them. You will get relief from the problem of headache and while telling the most special benefits for women, Seema said that by consuming medicinal phegdi, kachnar, women get a lot of relief from pregnancy related problems.
