Wrestlers Protest : Delhi Police vacated Jantar Mantar but wrestlers said- we will start Satyagraha again

Wrestlers Protest : The anger of the wrestlers against the President of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) and BJP MP (BJP MP) Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh does not seem to be subsiding. On Sunday, on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Parliament House, the wrestlers marched towards the new Parliament House to perform. But the protesting wrestlers and their supporters were stopped by the police by barricading them far away. The protesting wrestlers and supporters were adamant on moving forward. There was a scuffle between Delhi Police personnel and wrestlers regarding this.

Women and men personnel deployed in large numbers detained around 700 people from different parts of Delhi along with Jantar Mantar. In which wrestler Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia etc. are prominently included. After this, on the tents, mattresses, mats, coolers and speakers removed from Jantar Mantar, the wrestlers say that the movement is not over yet, they will resume their protest in the form of ‘Satyagraha’ after being released.
