Himachal Pradesh BJP spokesperson has said that just fifteen months after becoming MLA of Kasauli assembly constituency, how Vinod Sultanpuri’s wealth suddenly increased from Rs 9.5 lakh to Rs 1 crore 32 lakh.

Shimla District Spokesperson of Himachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party, Vivek Sharma, while addressing the press conference organized in the capital Shimla on Sunday, said that Vinod Sultanpuri, who was made the candidate from Shimla Lok Sabha seat of Congress Party, has committed fraud and cheating.
Vivek Sharma said that Vinod Sultanpuri has given wrong information about his income and movable and immovable assets to the Election Commission.
Shimla District BJP spokesperson said that in the 2022 assembly elections, Vinod Sultanpuri had given information to the Election Commission about only one 1990 model Maruti car in his name, and the price of the Maruti car was stated to be ten thousand rupees.
Now, in the affidavit filed by Vinod Sultanpuri while filing nomination for the Lok Sabha elections, a car worth Rs 45 lakh has been added to his property, but the Election Commission has not been informed about any source of his income.
Vivek Sharma said that Why is there such a huge confusion of data, from the details of assets in the 2022 Assembly elections to the income affidavit in the Lok Sabha elections.
Spokesperson Vivek Sharma said that in the 2022 assembly elections, Vinod Sultanpuri had given information about gold worth only Rs 5 lakh in the name of his wife, but in the nomination for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, his wife’s income has reached Rs 17 lakh 50 thousand.Â
Vivek Sharma said that as soon as the Congress government came to power in the state, how is Vinod Sultanpuri’s income increasing so much, and he is not even revealing his source of income. The entire matter should be investigated.
Vivek Sharma said that while filing nomination before the Election Commission, Vinod Sultanpuri has not given complete information about his assets and sources of income.
