US and China face to face in Taiwan
American Warship and China’s military ship deployed in Taiwan’s maritime border came face to face. Both the ships were just 150 meters apart. After this the Chinese ship left from there.
Last week, a Chinese fighter jet came in front of America’s spy jet in this area. America’s Defense Minister Lloyd Austin said – We do not want any kind of conflict. If this happens, America has the right to respond.
The US Indo-Pacific Command of the US Navy, which monitors the Indian Ocean, said in a statement – The coming of a Chinese Navy ship in front of our warship only proves that China wants a confrontation. If it is so, then America will definitely reply. For the second time in a week, a provocative act has been done by China.
The statement of the command further said – The manner in which the Chinese Navy ship came in front of our warship on Saturday evening was a clear provocation. A major conflict was averted at the last moment. There was also a Canadian warship along with US Navy warships in this area. Our warship reduced the speed after seeing the Chinese Navy ship. Had it not been so, the ships could have collided.
