Una News: Woman Commits Suicide In Haroli After Not Having A Child From Seven Years, Suicide Note Recovered

A 34-year-old woman has committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan in Bathu village of Haroli assembly constituency of Una district of Himachal Pradesh. The deceased woman has been identified as Sunita Devi, wife of Sandeep Kumar, resident of Bashuhi, Hoshiarpur Punjab, current resident of Bathu village of Haroli assembly constituency of Una district.
On the basis of the suicide note, Haroli police have come to the conclusion that the reason for suicide was not having a child.
Haroli police has taken the dead body of the woman in its custody and sent it for post-mortem.
According to initial information, Sunita Devi was married for about 7 years, but did not have a child. Due to which Sunita Devi was under stress and was not mentally well.
In the suicide note, Sunita Devi wrote that I am responsible for my own death. I am committing suicide because I don’t have a child.
DSP Haroli Mohan Rawat told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that Haroli police has sent the body of the deceased woman for post-mortem. Further action is being implemented. At present Haroli police is taking action under section 174 of CrPC.
