Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una , March 04: The MEMU train going from Una Railway Station to Haridwar has been flagged off by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur in collaboration with Saint Samaj. During this time, Hemanand Maharaj from Dera Baba Rudranand, Sant Ramanand Maharaj as well as DRM Ambala Mandal Mandeep Singh Bhatia were present. Una-Haridwar MEMU train has been described as a big gift by the Saint Samaj by chanting hymns and singing hymns. Saint Samaj has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur for the Una-Haridwar train.

While flagging off the Haridwar train from Una Railway Station at 1.50 pm, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said that Dera Baba Rudranand Maharaj and Sant Baba Balji Maharaj demanded to run trains for religious places like Haridwar, Prayagraj, Ujjain etc. Fulfilling the demand of Saint Samaj, the first Haridwar train has been started. Soon the darshan of Prayagraj, Ujjain Mahakal etc. is going to be started in the coming 10 days. Devbhoomi is going to be connected to Mahakaal Lok. The train has been approved. The timetable is going to be decided soon. With the expansion of railways, the distance of Himachal Pradesh from other states has reduced.
