Two Year Old Innocent Child Dies
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, April 09: A painful accident has come to light from Bathari under Tahliwal police station of Una district, where a two-year-old innocent child of a migrant laborer living in a slum has died after falling into a burning stove.

According to the information, Upendra Mehto was in a hut located in Bathari along with his family on Monday. During this time, Upendra Mehto’s 2 year old son Sanjeev Kumar got burnt after falling in the stove. The injured child was brought to the regional hospital Una, from where considering his critical condition, he was referred to PGI, Chandigarh, but Sanjeev Kumar died on the way. The deceased has been identified as Sanjeev Kumar, son of Upendra Mehto, resident of Bihar, Current address Bathari.

DSP Haroli Mohan Rawat confirmed the matter and said that further investigation is being conducted after recording the statements of the family members.
