Una News : Once again in the rainy season, cases of scrub typhus have started appearing in Una district. After the cases of scrub typhus came to the fore in the hilly areas of the district, the health department issued an alert and appealed to the people to protect themselves. It has also been urged to consult a doctor immediately in case of symptoms like headache, fever and vomiting.

Five cases of scrub typhus have been reported in Bangana and Amb sub-divisions of the district so far in this rainy season. It is caused by the bite of a very small animal like animal. It is possible, but if this fever worsens due to any reason, then it can also prove to be fatal.

Chief Medical Officer Sanjeev Sharma has appealed to the citizens to keep their bodies completely covered while cutting grass etc. while doing agricultural work. During this, five cases have come in Una district and the administration has appealed to the people to be vigilant.
