Sanjeev Kumar, a resident of Dulaihad village under Tahliwal police station of Una district of Himachal Pradesh, has made serious allegations against two people living in Poliyan Beet area of defrauding Sanjeev Kumar of Rs 22 lakh in a land deal.
The teams of Tahliwal police station have registered the entire case against both the accused under various sections of fraud and have started the investigation process of the entire case.
According to the complete information received from Tahliwal police station in-charge, Sanjeev Kumar, main resident of village Dulaihar, Tehsil Haroli district Una, in his complaint had told the teams of Tahliwal police that on July 3 last year in 2023, he along with the accused Sanjeev Kumar, resident of village Poliyan Beet, A land agreement was made. The land deal was done by land broker Sohan Singh, chief resident of village Poliyan Beet. In exchange for the land deal, Sanjeev Kumar had given Rs 50,000 as commission to land broker Sohan Singh. On the other hand, an amount of Rs 22 lakh was given in exchange for the land deal made with Sanjeev Kumar. During the land deal, the accused took three months time for registration.

Sanjeev Kumar has told Tahliwal police station in-charge that when three months were about to end, Sanjeev Kumar had asked both the accused to register the land. But both the accused kept postponing the date of registration by procrastinating. On getting suspicious, he also went to the house of main accused Sanjeev Kumar. While going to the house, he comes to know that the main accused Sanjeev Kumar has gone to Dubai and the second accused in the entire case, land broker Sohan Singh, had gone to drop the main accused Sanjeev Kumar to the airport.
Complainant Sanjeev Kumar has told Tahliwal police station in-charge that when he asked Sohan Singh, the second accused in the entire case, about the main accused Sanjeev Kumar, Sohan Singh could not give any answer.
Complainant Sanjeev Kumar said that later in the entire matter, he also came to know that both the accused had gone to get an agreement for the same land with some other person also. The second land deal has also been done by land broker Sohan Singh.
Whereas land broker Sohan Singh was well aware of the earlier land deal with Sanjeev Kumar.
In such a situation, both the accused have cheated the other person also. Una District Police Administration DSP Haroli Mohan Rawat told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the investigation process into the entire land deal case has been started. Both the accused Sanjeev Kumar and Sohan Singh are soon going to be interrogated by Tahliwal police station in-charge.
