Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, April 01: A 65-year-old woman died under suspicious circumstances in Basal under Sadar police station of Una district. The deceased woman has been identified as Mukhtyari Devi, wife of Gurdev Chand, resident of Basal. On receiving the information, Sadar police team reached the spot, registered the case and started investigation.

According to the information, on Sunday evening the health of Basal resident Mukhtyari Devi suddenly deteriorated. The old woman Mukhtyari Devi was brought to the regional hospital Una for treatment, where the woman was declared dead.

Superintendent of Police Rakesh Singh said that the police has conducted the post-mortem of the body and handed it over to the family members. Further action is being implemented.
