Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, April 03: A 27-year-old migrant youth died after being hit by an unknown vehicle in Kuthiari under Amb police station of Una district of Himachal Pradesh. The deceased has been identified as Phool Chand, son of Kadhard Lal, resident of Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh. Amb police has taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. The family members have been informed about the matter.

According to the information received, Deputy Head of Kuthiari Panchayat Ram Kumar saw a migrant youth in a dead condition under a shed in front of a shop in Kuthiari on Tuesday night. The Deputy Chief found that there were injury marks on the body of the deceased youth and there was blood lying on the road.

After receiving the information, Amb police reached the spot and took the body into custody. The youth could be identified due to the Aadhar card found in his pocket. It is being speculated that Phool Chand was hit by some unknown vehicle and fled from the spot.

DSP Amb Vasudha Sood said that the police has taken the body into custody. The relatives of the deceased have been informed. A case has been registered against the unknown driver and investigation has been started.
