A very painful road accident has occurred in Kamrau tehsil under Shillai sub-divisional area of Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. In the complete road accident, two people including the truck driver died on the spot, while a young man saved his life by jumping. Taking the entire matter seriously, the investigation process has been started by the teams of Shillai Police Station.

According to complete information received from Shillai police station in-charge, the road accident took place on Wednesday at Bombay Lani under Kamrau tehsil of Shillai area. In the complete road accident, a tractor number UK 16 8481, was going from Guddi Manpur link road towards Jakhna. Two local youths of Kamrau tehsil from Guddi Manpur were also going to their destination towards Jakhna sitting behind the tractor, but suddenly near Bombay Lani turn, the tractor went out of control due to brake failure and fell into a deep gorge of three hundred meters.

As soon as information about the entire incident was received, the local people of Bombay Lani reached the spot and started complete relief and rescue work.

With the help of the local people, both the injured were brought out of the three hundred meter deep gorge and brought up on the road. After that, while taking both the injured to the private hospital of Vikas Nagar for first aid with the help of local people, the tractor driver died on the way, while the other seventeen year old was declared dead by the doctors during treatment at Paonta Sahib Hospital.

Both the deceased have been identified by the teams of Shillai police station as Guman Singh, resident of village Chhitali, tehsil Kamrau and Piyush, aged seventeen, resident of Guddi Manpur tehsil Kamrau. Also, a fourteen year old youth, Lakshya, saved his life by jumping from the entire road accident.

The entire matter has been confirmed to Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma by Shillai police station in-charge Pritam Singh.

Shillai police station in-charge Pritam Singh told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the post-mortem of both the deceased was conducted by the Shillai police teams and the bodies were handed over to the family members. Also, Shillai Police has registered the entire case and started the investigation process.
