Baddi, August 26: A youth was killed and another was seriously injured in a dispute over the purchase and sale of ganja in the BBN area of ​​Baddi on Sunday evening. The deceased has been identified as Rahul Roy of Sector-12, Panchkula, Haryana, while the seriously injured 18-year-old Laxmikant of Unnao district, Uttar Pradesh is undergoing treatment at PGI Chandigarh. Ilma Afroz herself took the injured Laxmikant to PGI Chandigarh.

The police have registered a case of murder and the search for the accused is on. Initial investigation has revealed that there was a dispute between the two groups for several days over illegal drug trade and betting. This dispute turned into a violent clash on Sunday. In which Rahul Roy died due to beating with sticks, while Laxmikant was seriously injured.

The police and forensic team inspected the spot and collected evidence. Police investigation has also revealed that the dispute was about money transaction, to hide which this violence broke out. During this time local people were present at the spot, but they did not help the youth and only kept making videos.
