Amritsar: Two Accused Were Hiding In Amritsar After Committing Murder In Samba, Opened Fire On The Police Who Came To Arrest Them, One Policeman Injured
A case of murder was registered in Samba by J&K Police on December 25. Atul and Arun are the main accused in the murder case. J&K Police Sub Inspector Deepak Sharma told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that with the help of Punjab Police, he reached the hotel room where the main accused Atul and Arun were hiding.
J&K police were chasing the two main accused, Atul and Arun, who had reached Amritsar in Punjab state after committing murder from Jammu and Kashmir state. Actually, J&K Police had reached late night to raid a hotel located near Amritsar Railway Station in search of the two murderers Atul and Arun. The entire incident is said to have happened around 2.30 in the night.

A J&K Police employee has also been injured due to the firing. Both the main accused of the murder, Arun Chaudhary alias Abbu and Atul Chaudhary alias Ravi, have been arrested from Amritsar. A J&K Police personnel injured in the firing has been admitted to the local Amandeep Hospital in Amritsar. A complete case has been registered against both the main accused Atul and Arun in Amritsar Police Station Civil Lines.
J&K Police had registered a case of murder in Samba on December 25, 2023 last year. A case was registered against the two main accused, Atul and Arun, in the Samba murder case.
J&K Police Sub Inspector (SI) Deepak Sharma told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that J&K Police, with the help of Punjab Police, had reached a hotel room in Amritsar, Punjab, where the two main accused of the murder, Atul and Arun, were hiding.
On seeing the teams of J&K Police and Punjab Police, the firing was done by Atul and Arun, the two main accused of the murder, due to which a J&K Police personnel was injured, who has been admitted to Amandeep Hospital with immediate effect.
