Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, April 12: The driver of a tipper filled with stones died on the spot after an accident in Dhali police station area of Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. The accident occurred at a Thela place on Thursday night.

According to the information, on Thursday night the tipper (HP 30- 5431) driver was carrying stones. Meanwhile, the tipper fell off the road into a ditch near the Thela and the driver died on the spot. The deceased driver has been identified as Purna Singh, resident of Mehli, Shimla. On receiving the information, the police team reached the spot late in the night and found the tipper driver dead.

A police officer said that the body will be handed over to the family after post-mortem. He said that a case has been registered in Dhali police station regarding the accident and action is being taken.
