Third Battalion Pandoh 18th Foundation Day Celebration: Commandant Bhagat Singh Thakur Expressed Gratitude to DGP Dr. Sanjay Kundu

DGP Dr. Sanjay Kundu in his message praised the work of Third Battalion Pandoh and expressed hope that the way the battalion is continuously progressing, Third Battalion will reach greater heights in the future.
Third Battalion Pandoh celebrated 18th raising day
Mandi, February 11, Kumud Sharma: 18th raising day of Third Battalion Pandoh has been celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. Bhagat Singh Thakur, Commandant of Third Battalion Pandoh, participated in the Foundation Day function as the chief guest. After hoisting national flag, the Commandant inspected the parade and took the salute.

Commandant Bhagat Singh Thakur in his address also congratulated everyone on the 18th Foundation Day. Commandant Bhagat Singh Thakur said that the Third Armed Corps of Himachal Police was functioning in Pandoh of Mandi district from 1987 to 2005, which was later given the status of Third Reserve Battalion by the Central Government on 11 February 2005. At present, 985 policemen are deployed in Third Battalion Pandoh who are serving at various places in Himachal Pradesh and handling the security arrangements of many important projects, CM residence and other places. Commandant Bhagat Singh Thakur said that whatever work is being done today in the Third Battalion is possible only due to the efforts and cooperation of all the people. The Commandant expressed special gratitude for the support the battalion is receiving from DGP Sanjay Kundu and assured to take the Third Battalion to greater heights in future.
The annual report of the work being done in Third Battalion Pandoh and the work to be done in future has been presented by Deputy Commandant Surendra Sharma. Deputy Commandant of Third Battalion Pandoh, Surendra Sharma has given full credit to the current Commandant Bhagat Singh Thakur for bringing the battalion to a new level. Surendra Sharma said that at present development works worth Rs 16 crore 84 lakh are in progress in the Third Battalion while many development works are proposed in future which are going to be approved soon. Surendra Sharma said that special attention is being given to the upliftment of the employees and their all-round development.
Mandi District Police Administration ASP Sagar Chandra and ASP Cyber Crime Manmohan Sharma and all other policemen and their families were also present in the foundation day ceremony. During the Foundation Day celebrations, all the employees doing excellent work have also been honored with awards.
