New Delhi: The Air Quality Index (AQI) in the national capital remained in the ‘poor’ category on Sunday.

According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the 24-hour average AQI in Delhi at 9 am was recorded at 265.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) recorded the minimum temperature at 20.0 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the humidity level at 8.30 am stood at 91 per cent, the IMD said.

The weather department has predicted clear skies for the day and the maximum temperature is expected to settle at 36.0 degrees Celsius.

An AQI between zero to 50 is considered “good”, 51 to 100 “satisfactory”, 101 to 200 “moderate”, 201 to 300 “poor”, 301 to 400 “very poor”, and 401 to 500 “severe”.
