Tata Curvv gets 5-star rating in BNCAP crash test

The Tata Curvv is the newest car in the brand’s Indian line-up. It has been receiving a good response from the audience for its coupe SUV design. The Curvv is available with petrol, diesel and electric powertrains, which has also increased its demand. Apart from this, it has also got a 5-star crash test rating due to the Tata badge. And now the wait for the crash test results of the Curvv is over. India NCAP has released the scores of the Tata Curvv and it has received a 5-star crash test rating.

Tata Curvv ICE – Crash Test Results
The ICE variant of the Curvv Coupe SUV scored 29.5 out of 32 for adult passenger safety, while it scored 43.66/49 for child safety. The variant tested was the range-topping Accomplished+ trim. It was the diesel variant of the SUV.

The ICE variant of the Curvv gets 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, collapsible steering column, seatbelt reminder, electronic stability control and more as standard fitment. As a result, it got a full 5-star rating for the safety of both children and adults.

Tata Curvv EV – Crash Test Results

The Curvv EV was tested with a larger 55 kWh battery pack with a total weight of 1,983 kg. The electrified avatar of the Curv scored 30.81 out of 32 points overall. It scored 44.83 out of 49 for child safety. It also got a 5-star rating, but the Curvv EV managed to outperform the Curv ICE score.
