While presiding over the Cabinet meeting today, the Honourable Chief Minister of the state, Shri Thakur Sukhvinder took several visionary and effective decisions to accelerate the overall development, which will prove important in taking Devbhoomi Himachal to new heights.

While chairing the Cabinet meeting at the Secretariat today, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu took several important decisions for the bright and prosperous future of the state.

CM Sukhu said, “Our government is committed to making Devbhoomi Himachal a self-reliant and prosperous state, so that the life of every Himachali can be illuminated with prosperity and progress.”

Here’s Take A Look At Top Decisions of Himachal Pradesh Cabinet –

Approval to convert three Nagar Parishads into Municipal Corporations and two Nagar Panchayats into Municipal Councils.

Approval to form six new Nagar Panchayats in the state, decision to include additional area under the purview of various local bodies.

Approval to increase the honorarium of Multi Task Workers posted in the Public Works Department from Rs 4,500 to Rs 5,000.

In-principle approval also given to bring all senior citizens above 70 years of age under the purview of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, under this scheme, senior citizens above 70 years of age already registered will be provided additional top-up cover of up to Rs five lakh.

Decision to provide financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh for building houses to widows, single women, abandoned and disabled women registered under Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board with annual income less than Rs 2.50 lakh.

Approval to provide the benefits of Mukhyamantri Sukhashray Yojana to abandoned children till the age of 27 years.

Approval to implement Rajiv Gandhi Swarojgar Start-up Scheme – 2023, under which a minimum fare of Rs 50 thousand will be ensured to e-taxi owners associated with various government departments.

Decision also to create and fill 30 posts of senior resident doctors and 326 posts of supporting staff in Dr. Radhakrishnan Government Medical College, Hamirpur.

Approval to open a new police post in Dr. Radhakrishnan Government Medical College, Hamirpur and creation and filling of 7 posts of various categories.

Approval to fill 28 posts of various categories in Fisheries Department.

Approval to fill 25 posts of Assistant State Tax and Excise Officers in State Tax and Excise Department.

Decision to fill 10 posts of various categories in the Commission for smooth functioning of Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission Hamirpur.

Decision to create and fill 6 posts of various categories in the recently opened Block Medical Office Dehra in Kangra district.

Decision to create and fill 4 posts of various categories for the recently upgraded Community Health Center, Gumma in Shimla district.

Himcaps Nursing College, Badhera in Haroli of Una district to increase 20 seats of GNM course Decision to grant No Objection Certificate (NOC) from 40 to 60.

Approval to start M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Electric Vehicle Technology) at Government Hydro Engineering College, Bandla, Bilaspur and to create and fill three posts for the same.

Decision to start new diploma courses in Computer Engineering and Internet of Things in Government Polytechnic College, Hamirpur.

Decision to issue letter of intent and grant approval to M/s Himachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation for setting up a winery at Parala in Shimla district. This decision will ensure remunerative prices to the apple growers of the region and ensure employment to the local people.

Approval to shift the office of Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Welfare Workers Board from Shimla to Hamirpur to reduce congestion in Shimla city.
