A young man and a girl have been found dead amid heavy snowfall on the road leading to Bir Billing in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.

According to the complete information received from DSP Baijnath Purnachand Thakral, on Sunday, a young man and a girl were going alone on foot towards Billing after getting down from the car on the road leading to Bir Billing. The identity of both the deceased was a thirty-two year old youth from Gurdaspur district of Punjab who lived in a rented room at a place called Suja adjacent to Bir Village. Also, the girl, aged twenty-seven years, old girl from Pune city.

Confirming the entire incident, Kangra District Police Administration DSP Baijnath Purnachand Thakral told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the bodies of the deceased boy and girl have been taken into custody and sent in 108 ambulance for post-mortem.

All the reasons behind the suspicious death of the young man and the girl are not yet known. In the preliminary investigation process of Baijnath police teams, extreme cold is being considered as the main cause of death. The investigation process has been started by Baijnath Police, Kangra District Police Administration.

On the other hand, a 36-year-old woman died on the spot after a car fell into a deep gorge near Jong in Kangra district late on Monday night, while three people were injured in the entire incident. All three injured have been sent to the local hospital for first aid.
