Two milk-fed girls have died under suspicious circumstances in Shilh village of Kotla Khanula Panchayat of Saraj assembly constituency of Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Both were twin sisters. The age of both the sisters is said to be five and a half months by the family members.

Two milk-fed girls have died under suspicious circumstances in Shilh village of Kotla Khanula Panchayat of Saraj assembly constituency of Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Both were twin sisters. The age of both the sisters is said to be five and a half months by the family members.

The entire incident has been confirmed by Mandi District Police Administration SP Soumya Sambashivan to Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma. The incident of suspicious death of two milk-fed girls has spread sensation in the entire Seraj assembly constituency.

Mandi District SHO Gohar Lal Singh told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that as soon as information was received about the suspicious death of both the milk-fed girls, the teams of Saraj police station reached the spot with immediate effect and recovered the bodies of both the milk-fed girls. Both the milk-fed girls has been taken to Ner Chowk Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem report.

Also, Mandi SHO Gohar Lal Singh told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that both the lactating girls were being fed market milk by their family members as per the advice of doctors.

It is also being told by the local people of Shilh village of Khanula Panchayat that like every day, on Tuesday morning too, the mother had fed milk to both the lactating girls. Shortly after drinking mother’s milk, the bodies of both the suckled girls suddenly started becoming cold. Due to cold, both the milk-fed girls were immediately taken to the local Gohar hospital by the family members, but while being taken to Gohar hospital, both the milk-free girls died due to cold.

The death of both the milk-fed girls in suspicious condition due to cooling of the body has been confirmed to diary correspondent Kumud Sharma by Devraj of Saraj, the DSP headquarters of Saraj assembly constituency.

DSP Devraj of Headquarters Saraj told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the teams of Gohar police station have started the investigation process of the entire case of death of both the suckled girls under suspicious circumstances due to their body becoming cold. Devraj also said that only after the post mortem report of both the girls comes from Ner Chowk Medical College and Hospital, it will be known what are the reasons behind the death of both the milk-fed girls.
