Sudarshan Patnaik is a famous sand-artist from Odisha, India. He was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2014 for his outstanding contribution in the field of arts. He is from the state of Odisha. They make art facts out of sand.
Sudarshan Pattnaik created a sand sculpture at Odisha’s Puri beach to celebrate RRR movie’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ and ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ winning at Oscars.
The 6-feet-high sand sculpture of the Oscar trophy shows RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ song and ‘The Elephant Whisperers’.
While ‘Naatu Naatu’ won the best original song, ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ won best documentary shorts.
The Padma Shree awardee artist created the sand sculpture using about 5 tons of sand.
