Internet shutdowns have been reported across Sudan. Al Jazeera reported that fighting between the army and paramilitary forces continued despite a 72-hour ceasefire on both sides.
Amid ongoing tensions between the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary group Rapid Support Force (RSF), several countries have begun evacuating their citizens from the violence-hit nation.
United States President Joe Biden announced on Saturday that Washington has suspended the operation of its embassy in Sudan while US government employees are being evacuated from Khartoum by the US military.
The US President further said that he is receiving regular reports from his team on the ongoing work to assist Americans in Sudan as much as possible.
Al Jazeera reported that there have been more than 400 deaths and more than 3,500 injuries since the fighting began.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia announced the safe evacuation of 91 Saudi nationals and about 66 nationals representing Kuwait, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Tunisia, Pakistan, India, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, Philippines, Canada and Burkina. Faso.
