Solan: Professor slapped a student in PG College, uproar

Solan (Bureau): In PG College Solan, a professor slapped a student. On this attitude of the professor, the students immediately boycotted the classes and started sloganeering. Seeing the situation deteriorating, police had to be called in the college but the anger of the students was at its peak. Meanwhile, a girl student also accused the professor of misbehaving and said that she is mentally harassed by the professor every day. He is tarnishing the dignity of the post of professor.
The students said that they want such a professor to be suspended with immediate effect. The student who was beaten up expressed anger and said that the professor was teaching in his class and suddenly he came out of the class and started beating him.
He said that he was standing quietly outside the class. But the professor came without any reason and started beating him. This is the reason why all the students are protesting against the professor.
Serious allegations have been made against the professor by the students. How much truth is there in these allegations. An investigation will be conducted on this and action will be taken on that basis.
Tehsildar Multan Singh Banyal said that after the orders of the Deputy Commissioner, he reached the spot and listened to both the parties. After this, a compromise was reached between the two parties. He explained to the students and teachers that an atmosphere of education should be created in the college.
