Solan News: Punjab Roadways Bus Going From Baru Sahib to Bathinda Collides with Car, Four Injured

Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Solan, March 06:  An accident occurred when a Punjab Roadways bus going towards Bathinda via Baru Sahib collided with a car. Punjab Roadways bus number (PB03-BH5638) has had a fatal collision with a car number (HP98-1242) near Dhatiyar on National Highway 5.

Punjab Roadways bus and car were going in the same direction towards Chandigarh. Two passengers in the car have been injured. Both the injured have been taken to ESI Hospital with immediate effect.

All the passengers of Punjab Roadways bus are safe. Only two passengers of the bus suffered minor injuries.

Two injured traveling in the car have been identified as Devendra Kumar of Kasauli, Manoj Kumar of Khajret, two injured passengers of the bus have been identified as Kannu of Badog and Deepak of Kumharhatti.

Currently situation regarding the cause of the accident is not clear, but according to preliminary investigation, the accident occurred during the overtake of a car by a Punjab Roadways bus.

Solan Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh confirmed the entire incident and said that the cause of the accident is being investigated.
