Solan, June 28: As per the directions of Himachal Pradesh Election Commissioner, address tags and paper rolls were removed from the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) machines used during the Lok Sabha elections-2024 today in the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner Solan Ajay Kumar Yadav.

On this occasion, 700 address tags and paper rolls were removed from the Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) and Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) machines in the presence of representatives of recognised political parties.

Shivdatt Thakur of Indian National Congress, Rajpal Verma of Bharatiya Janata Party, Rakesh Barard of Bahujan Samaj Party, Sushil Kanwar of Aam Aadmi Party along with Tehsildar Election Usha Chauhan, Naib Tehsildar Election Diwan Singh Thakur were present on the occasion.
