Nahan, February 27: The youth injured in the road accident that took place at Kolar on Chandigarh-Dehradun Highway on Monday evening has also died during treatment. While one died on the spot. Last evening, a private bus of Kashmi coach (HP 71 A- 0672) going from Nahan to Paonta Sahib collided with a bike (HP 71-3433) near Kolar.

Dhanveer Singh (34) of Mandhana village of Dhartidhar was brought to Nahan Medical College for treatment in a very critical condition, but he died during treatment.
Clear information regarding the reasons for the accident has not been revealed, but there is a demand to tighten the control on the race of private buses to overtake each other on the highway.

On the other hand, initial investigation also revealed that a private school bus was dropping children on the side of the highway. Meanwhile, there was a head-on collision between a bike and a private bus.
It is also being told that people remained spectators on the spot, no effort was made to immediately take the injured to the hospital. It would take 30 to 45 minutes to reach 108 from Nahan. During this period the injured could be taken to Nahan. Even the police had to struggle a lot in arranging a vehicle to send the body to Paonta Sahib.
Dhanveer Singh was driving the bike at the time of the accident. Since the young man was wearing a helmet, he was protected to some extent. However, now the young man has died.
Let us tell you that the youth sitting behind the bike, Albel Singh (30), died on the spot. The news of the death of two youths in the accident has sent a wave of mourning across Dhartidhar.
Post mortem of the dead bodies will be done on Tuesday. The body of Albel Singh was sent from the spot to Paonta Sahib for post-mortem.
