Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Kalamb, March 17: Police has got success in the hit and run case. On the evening of March 13, an elderly woman was found dead on the side of the highway. The deceased woman was identified as Krishnavati.

A case was registered on the complaint of Anjali, working at Sai Hospital Nahan. Investigation revealed that after hitting the elderly woman, the driver had fled from the spot along with the truck.

After scanning the CCTV footage, the police found out the number plate of the truck. After this, driver Sandev Singh of Puruwala Kanshipur of Paonta Sahib has been arrested. The truck has also been seized.
