Kumud Sharma Diary Times,Nahan, March 01: On February 20, Sirmour police arrested a Nigerian in backward linkage of a drug trade case. While raiding the Nigerian’s hideout in the country’s capital Delhi, Khaki has also recovered 32 grams of heroin.

The case begins on February 20. The drug supplier had set up a base in Kala Amb on the Himachal-Haryana border. Police arrested Roshan Lal alias Vicky Don, who was also a supplier of narcotics to the educational institutions of Kala Amb, from Khajurna Bridge with 22.92 grams of chitta. 960 drug capsules were also recovered from the possession. On the lines of Solan Police, Sirmour Police also decided to investigate the backward linkage.

SIT was formed under the leadership of DSP Ramakant Thakur with the aim of getting to the root of the smugglers. The SIT came to know about the whereabouts of Tej Pratap Singh, who supplied Chitta to Roshan Lal from Ambala, Haryana. SIT also caught Tej Pratap Singh. Tej Pratap revealed that he brings the consignment of Chitta from Delhi from a Nigerian.

When SIT raided Delhi, 32.45 grams of chitta was also recovered from the possession of the Nigerian. The court has sent the Nigerian on police remand for two days. The SIT included SI Rajvindra Singh, ASI Krishna Bhandari, chief constable Anil Kumar, Rohit Kumar, constable Kapil, Vishal and Dinesh.

It is also being told that a few years ago, Roshan Lal alias Vicky Don had also beaten up a police informer. SP Raman Meena has confirmed the arrest of the Nigerian.
