Shimla: Widow raped on the pretext of marriage, victim is mother of two children

Shimla, September 15: Another case of rape has come to light in the capital. In this case, a man raped a widow mother of two children on the pretext of marriage. The shocking thing is that the man accused of rape is four years younger than the victim. On the complaint of the victim woman, the police have registered an FIR against the accused for rape and threat to kill.
According to the case, the victim woman and the accused are natives of Una district of Himachal Pradesh. The victim works in a private job in Shimla and has two children. The woman’s husband died a few years ago. The 34-year-old widow woman has lodged a complaint in the women’s police station that a young man named Shubham (30) had physical relations with her on the pretext of marriage and now is refusing to marry her.
The victim also told the police that the accused has also threatened to kill her. The accused is a native of Mubarakpur in Una district. According to an officer of Shimla Police, on the complaint of the victim woman, a case has been registered against the accused in the women’s police station under sections 376 (2), 417 and 506 of the IPC. The police is searching for the accused.
Rape cases increased in the city, college professor accused of molestation

The victim lodged a complaint in the women’s police station that the accused called her to his rented room in Shimla on the pretext of marriage and raped her and then refused to marry her. This month, an FIR has also been registered against a college professor of Shimla city for molesting a girl student in the college campus.
