Shimla tragic accident: One dead, two in critical condition after Alto car falls into a deep gorge

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, June 01A heartbreaking incident has come to light on Friday late evening on the Junga-Chhalanda-Peeran road in Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla, where an Alto car rolled down into a deep ditch, resulting in one person’s death on the spot and two seriously injured persons in critical condition.

The station in-charge said that an Alto car number (HP 52C-1536) was on its way to Peeran via Chail when suddenly the car lost control at Sergata turn and fell into a deep ditch, resulting in one of the three persons in the Alto car’s death on the spot and two persons were seriously injured but their condition is also said to be critical in the hospital.Immediately, the local people reached the spot and informed the Junga police station in-charge about the entire accident.

As soon as the information was received, the Junga police station The in-charge along with his team reached the spot and took out both the injured and the dead body from the deep ditch and sent them to the hospital with the help of 108 ambulance.

The Junga police station in-charge has identified the deceased person in the Alto car accident as Joginder, aged 44 years, of village Peeran, while the two seriously injured people have been identified as Sahil Sharma, aged 31 years and Neeta Ram, aged 30 years.The tragic death of Joginder Singh has sent a wave of grief in the entire family.

The Junga Police Station in-charge said that the post-mortem of the dead body of Joginder Singh has been done and handed over to the family.

The Tehsildar Junga Narayan Singh Parmar said that the family of the dead Joginder Singh has been given an amount of 20 thousand as immediate relief and the families of the injured have been given 10 thousand each. The death of Joginder Singh in the accident has sent a wave of grief in the entire Peeran Panchayat.
