Shimla Shocked: Dead body of a woman found hanging in an apple orchard in Jubbal.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, April 15: Sensation has spread in the entire Jubbal area after a dead body of a woman was found hanging from a tree in an apple orchard in Jubbal police station area. Whether the woman committed suicide or someone hanged the murdered body from a tree, the police is investigating both the aspects. The incident took place in Sanaba village of Jubbal. The deceased woman has been identified as 22-year-old Manisha. Manisha was of Nepali origin and was living with her husband in Sanaba. She has a small child. Nepali couple works as a laborer for a gardener in Jubbal.

On Sunday evening, local people saw the woman’s body hanging in the garden and informed the Deputy Head of Sanaba Gram Panchayat. After this, Jubbal police was informed about the incident. Jubbal police team reached the spot, called a forensic expert and after conducting investigation, took possession of the Manisha body and sent it for post-mortem.

Jubbal’s SHO said that prima facie it is a case of suicide. The real cause of death will be revealed after the post mortem report. He said that no suicide note related to this case has been found. Investigation is ongoing in the matter.
