Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh has said that the Shimla-Rampur National Highway blocked at Theog due to landslides will be restored through Bailey bridge within a week.

Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh has said that the Shimla-Rampur National Highway blocked at Theog due to landslides will be restored through Bailey bridge within a week.
Vikramaditya Singh inspected the blocked road on the spot and instructed the officials to restore it soon.
He said that One way traffic will be restored on this road. For this, a 100 meter long belly bridge will be built. Vikramaditya Singh said that construction material for the belly bridge will be available today.
He also instructed the SDM and DSP theog to establish coordination with the Public Works Department by identifying alternative routes so that these routes could be used till the construction of Bailey bridge.
He said that the remaining work of theog bypass road would also be completed soon. Will go, so that this road can also be used in the apple season.
People’s Works Minister said that the approval of eight crore rupees has been received from the center for theog bypass and the construction work will be started on war footing as soon as this amount is received.
He also inspected the sunken part of the bypass road and asked to speed up the repair work so that the traffic on the bypass road could be restored before July 31.
