Shimla Police is tightening its grip on Prakash and his four associates. Shimla Police has seized bank accounts worth Rs 15 lakh of former minister’s son Prakash Singh. Shimla Police is investigating the details of drug money of all the accused. During the three-day remand, many important revelations were made in the investigation of Shimla Police. After completion of the remand on Friday, Shimla Police presented the accused in the court and requested to extend their remand.

The court has sent the accused on police remand for five days. The investigation so far has revealed that among the five arrested accused, the son of the former minister Prakash Singh is the main accused. Prakash Singh was running the drug business with his associates.

SP Shimla Sanjeev Gandhi said that bank accounts worth about Rs 15 lakh of the accused named Prakash Singh have been seized. He said that people associated with the drug mafia will not be spared under any circumstances.

SP said that in the last 15 months, one thousand accused involved in drug smuggling have been arrested in Shimla district. During this period, 500 cases were registered under NDPS Act in various police stations.

Let us tell you that the team of Special Cell of Shimla Police had arrested the accused three days ago near the old bus stand of Shimla. The police team has recovered a consignment of 42.89 grams of Chitta from the possession of the accused. The police have taken possession of the consignment of Chitta and registered a case against the accused at Sadar Police Station. The arrested accused include Prakash Singh, son of former Punjab minister Sucha Singh, resident of Gurdaspur, Abni of Kinnaur, Ajay Kumar of Patiala, Shubham Kaushal of Chandigarh and Balbinder of Mohali.
