Shimla News - Wildlife Week Will Be Celebrated From 2nd October

Wildlife Week will be celebrated by the Wildlife Wing of the Forest Department from October 2 to October 9.

This time the theme of the seventy-second Wildlife Week has been kept as development and wildlife path.

Today, Additional Chief Warden of Wildlife Wing in Shimla, Anil Thakur said that various types of programs will be organized in this week-long program and various programs will be organized to promote wildlife conservation. People will be made aware about this. He said that the department will get the monkeys counted again.

We will get an estimation of monkeys done and its figures will be available by March 224. Their number is more than three lakh sixteen thousand and till now we have decided to sterilize more than one lakh seventy six monkeys and now we are studying the same.

If we are there then it is there and we will know exactly what is the situation going on now? The main reason for the control that has come is our efforts in which we have established centers at various places in the last seven years and sterilize ten to fifteen thousand monkeys every year.

Apart from this, in the previous years we have also converted the monkeys into Brahmins. Was declared and that has also had a lot of impact on the population.

Now since these monkeys have been taken out of the schedule in the new wild protection act, now there is no need to declare the monkeys as Brahmins.

If the monkeys want to control someone then If there is a big problem then first of all there is wildlife protection which does not come in the way.
