Shimla, July 6: Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama’s 89th birthday was celebrated with great pomp in Shimla. A prayer meeting was organized for the long life of Dalai Lama in the Tibetan school and cultural programs were organized.
Additional Chief Secretary in Himachal Pradesh Government Omkar Sharma attended the program as the chief guest.

Dalai Lama has gone abroad for treatment. In such a situation, on his birthday, lakhs of followers living in the country and abroad wished Dalai Lama a long life and good health.
