Retired IAS officer Akshay Sood, who has previously served on the important post of Finance Secretary in the Government of Himachal Pradesh, has been appointed to do the financial analysis of the entire budget of Himachal Pradesh for the year 2024 and 2025. To take advantage of the experiences, Himachal Pradesh Government has issued the complete notification of this important decision.

Apart from this, retired IAS officer Akshay Sood will also attend all the important meetings of the Finance and Government Planning Department of Himachal Pradesh Government and provide advice as a financial advisor.

According to the notification of the Finance and Government Planning Department of Himachal Pradesh Government, an important decision has been taken by the Himachal Pradesh Government to provide the facility of government vehicle to retired IAS officer Akshay Sood as per the requirement during his tenure of six months.
In the present Himachal Pradesh government, Chief Principal Secretary Devesh Kumar has been entrusted with the important responsibility of Finance and Government Planning Department.
Also, earlier in Himachal Pradesh government, IAS officer Dr. Abhishek Jain was given the important responsibility of Finance and Government Planning Department.
The entire process of preparing and releasing the entire financial budget of the Himachal Pradesh Government for the year 2024 and 2025 has been started as per the orders of the Himachal Pradesh Government.
Due to the lack of experienced financial officers continuously working in the Finance and Government Planning Department of the present Government of Himachal Pradesh, the Government of Himachal Pradesh was facing huge difficulties and problems every day in preparing the entire financial budget for the year 2024 and the year 2025.
Due to which, the most important decision of Himachal Pradesh Government to provide its services as Finance Advisor to retired IAS officer Akshay Sood, notification has been issued by the Finance Department of Himachal Pradesh Government.
