Shimla News : Outsourced workers in health institutions of the state protested outside the secretariat in Shimla for their demands
Shimla News : Employees hired on outsourced basis in health institutions in the state during the Corona period today started a sit-in protest outside the secretariat located in capital Shimla regarding their demands.
During this, the protesters demanded from the Chief Minister to guarantee their extension of service and to retain their employment. The employees allege that they have rendered their services in difficult times like the Corona epidemic, but now the government is showing them the way out.
The outsourced personnel said – by ending the extension period that we are going through again and again, we should be brought on top of a regular policy. We are not making any more demand from the government because we know What is the government doing at this time?
It is going through a disaster period. The financial system of the government has completely shaken at this time. We have stood shoulder to shoulder with the government. We stood with this government even during the first COVID time, even today we are standing with the government. Standing together.
Today our situation has become such that when Corona has ended in the entire country, then today it has happened for us that we have to stand on the road. After every three months, we have to come on the road. We have to fight for our rights.
We just want to request the government that where 40,000 outsourced employees are working, 1800 of us are working as COVID warriors in Himachal Pradesh. So we want our people to be included among forty thousand COVID outsourced employees.
It is noteworthy that about forty thousand outsourced employees are providing their services in various departments across the state. And on the same lines, these employees hired during the Corona period have also demanded to continue their services. The number of these employees across the state is around Is one thousand eight hundred.
