Shimla News: Now The List Of All Free Medicines Will Be Uploaded Daily On The Official Website Of IGMC Shimla.

Diary Times Media Network, Shimla, December 13 (Kumud Sharma): The hospital management of Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (I.G.M.C.) located in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, will now provide all the free medicines Stock Details to the patients on the official website. Notification to upload the correct list of IGMC Shimla hospital management daily on the official website has been issued by Himachal Pradesh State Chief Information Commissioner R.D. Dhiman.

Along with this, Himachal Pradesh State Chief Information Commissioner R. D. Dhiman, while hearing the delay in the information sought under the Right to Information Act 2005 and I.G. M.C. Hospital main administration has been strongly reprimanded for delaying the information sought in RTI. Also, Himachal Pradesh State Chief Information Commissioner R. D. Dhiman filed RTI By Social worker Anil Saraswati Chief Resident Matra Sadan, Post Office Shakrala, Malyana BO, Shimla District , who sought response on the petition and asked to provide the correct information sought in the RTI to within a week and also to update the list of free medicines daily on the official website of IGMC Shimla. After this, a notification has been issued to provide the link of the official website to the petitioner social worker Anil Saraswati.

An application was filed under the RTI through the Right to Information Act 2005 on November 27, 2022 by famous social worker Anil Saraswati, chief resident of Matra Sadan, Post Office Shakrala, Malyana BO, capital of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, had filed the RTI. Shimla Social Worker Anil Saraswati was sought RTI through Under the policy and rules of the Government of Himachal Pradesh, complete details and information about all the free medicines provided to the patients from outside and surrounding districts coming to IGMC Shimla, the largest government hospital of Himachal Pradesh.

Along with this, petitioner social worker Anil Saraswati was asked to provide complete information including updated links of the official website of IGMC Shimla and the government health portal. Also, IGMC Shimla Hospital Management was asked to provide complete information about the interval of how many days the list of completely updated free medicines is being updated by IGMC Shimla Hospital Management in the official website of IGMC Shimla.

On the other hand, due to the Chief Public Information Officer of IGMC Shimla not providing complete information on RTI petition on time, while hearing the entire matter, Himachal Pradesh State Chief Information Commissioner R. D. Dhiman The entire petition was registered Due to which, during the hearing on the petition, the presence of Chief Superintendent and Public Information Officer of IGMC Shimla, Kuldeep Kumar was also recorded.

Due to which Himachal Pradesh State Chief Information Commissioner R. D. Dhiman had found that all the arguments provided by IGMC Shimla Superintendent and Public Information Officer Kuldeep Kumar regarding the delay in complete supply of information were not found to be reasonable. Himachal Pradesh State Chief Information Commissioner R. D. Dhiman, while hearing the RTI filed by social worker Anil Saraswati, detailed all the conditions regarding the availability of all free medicines distributed free of cost on the official website of the respondent IGMC Shimla as well as on the web portal of the Health Department. Notification for uploading all free medicines was issued By Himachal Pradesh State Chief Information Commissioner R. D. Dhiman On Urgent Basis. Besides, orders and notifications were also issued to update the list of all medicines to be distributed free of cost on a day-to-day basis.

Himachal Pradesh State Chief Information Commissioner R. D. Dhiman, while hearing the RTI, had also said that by providing free medicines on the official website, not only the patients will be able to get complete information about the availability of the entire stock of medicines, but IGMC Shimla Hospital will also get this information. It will be noted that action orders will be issued from time to time to the IGMC Shimla Hospital management for purchasing essential medicines.

During the hearing on the entire petition, instructions have been issued to the petitioner social worker Anil Saraswati to provide all the updated information point by point by the IGMC Shimla Hospital management within the entire period of seven days.

Chief Appellant social worker Anil Saraswati told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that he is extremely happy that Himachal Pradesh State Chief Information Commissioner R. D. Dhiman, taking action on the petition filed by him, appropriate guidelines have been issued, due to which all the free facilities available to the patients coming from outside and nearby districts to get their treatment in IGMC Shimla. The updated list of fee medicines can now be uploaded daily on the official website of IGMC Shimla.
