Highlights –State level convention of workers and employees in Shimla,There will be a nationwide demonstration on August 9 regarding the demands of the workers.
State level convention of workers and employees was organized in Shimla on the call of Central Trade Unions and National Federation, addressing the convention, CITU National Secretary Kashmir Singh Thakur said that countrywide demonstrations will be organized on August 9 for the interests and demands of the workers. He alleged that due to the anti-labour policies in the country, the interests of the workers are being played with. Continually getting worse.
Talking to Diary Times reporter Kumud Sharma in Shimla, CITU’s national secretary Kashmir Singh Thakur said that the four laborers Laws who formed the core, its rules will be final, once the rules are final, they can be implemented and in these labor laws, till date there were some concessions to the laborers, all that has ended. It has the power to change, so on August 9, we will jointly stage a dharna in the entire Himachal Pradesh from CITU, AITUC, INTUC, NZIEA, BSNLEU, BEPI and after that we will observe the all India level calls that will come.
