Shimla News : CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said – taking the apples of the orchardists to the mandis is the biggest priority
Shimla News : Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, during a two-day tour of the disaster-affected Shimla district, visited various panchayats of Gatsai Rampur and Theo assembly constituencies and took stock of the damage caused here.
During this, while interacting with the affected people, the Chief Minister said that he understands their pain and the work of restoring the roads is being done on a war footing to make it easier for the victims to reach.
The Chief Minister said that at present, the biggest priority of the government is to deliver the apples of the orchardists to the mandis.
For this, additional funds have been made available to the Public Works and Rural Development Departments.
The Chief Minister directed immediate release of financial assistance of one lakh rupees to the owners of more than fifty damaged houses in Nankhari, Bado and Kungan Balti panchayats and also visited other areas related to the assembly.
