Honourable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has released the grand opening teaser of Shimla Flying Festival – 2023 late on Wednesday evening.
Shimla Flying Festival will be organized from October 12 to October 15 under the joint aegis of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department and The Glide Inn at Junga near the capital Shimla.
While addressing, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that this year, the entire Himachal Pradesh has suffered huge losses due to heart-wrenching heavy rains, landslides and floods during the monsoon for almost three months. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that due to the disaster in Himachal Pradesh, tourists and tourism businessmen have suffered the most loss. After the disaster relief, Himachal Pradesh Government has continuously worked on war footing with PWD and Electricity Department to deal with the disaster.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that Himachal Pradesh is again ready to welcome the tourists and everything has been opened smoothly for the re-arrival of tourists.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has again made Himachal Pradesh completely safe for tourism activities. CM Sukhu said that Shimla Flying Festival will promote tourism along with adventure activities in Himachal Pradesh. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the Himachal Pradesh government is continuously working on a large scale to promote adventure activities under which Kangra district is being developed as a tourism capital. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that global facilities are being continuously expanded at all the tourist places in Himachal Pradesh. On the occasion of releasing the teaser, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Chairman RS Bali, Principal Private Secretary to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Vivek Bhatia, OSD to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Gopal Sharma, Chief Minister’s Director Information and Public Relations Officer Rajeev Kumar, Glide In Managing Director Arun Rawat and all senior officers were present.
