Highlights –Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi instructed the officials to complete all the preparations regarding the apple season.
Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi has said that this time apples will be sold on the basis of kilos in the state.
Today, in a meeting with the officials regarding the preparations for the apple season in Shimla, he told that there is a need to take the apple crop to the mandis and the gardeners to get the crop.
All preparations have also been completed to get fair prices for apples.
Jagat Singh Negi issued necessary guidelines to the officers regarding the apple season.
He said that the ceiling of 24 kg was also discussed in the meeting and the problems of orchardists were discussed.
A meeting will be held with the gardeners tomorrow for the same.
The Horticulture Minister said that the transportation of apples in the state will be done through GPS fitted trucks only so that the apple trucks do not disappear.
Apples will be sold by weight only.
Neither the gardener has any problem nor the RTO has any problem in this.
It is not known who is having any problem.
In which all the stakeholders, including the economic association, our horticulture association held a meeting and no one objected to these things at that time.
But today when Apple has started coming in the market and apples are being sold at a good rate per kilo, who is having a problem?
