Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, June 02After the successful completion of the voting of Lok Sabha elections and assembly by-elections in Himachal Pradesh, Now the whole world will be watching the counting of votes on the most important day of Tuesday, June 4.

Eight hundred employees have been appointed for counting of votes in Shimla parliamentary seat.

The second randomization of counting personnel was organized in the NIC room of Shimla District Deputy Commissioner’s office on Sunday under the supervision of General Observer Jang Bahadur Yadav appointed for the counting of votes of Shimla Lok Sabha seat.

The second randomization was chaired by Returning Officer 4-Shimla (SC) Parliamentary Constituency & Shimla District Election Officer Anupam Kashyap.

Anupam Kashyap said that the counting of votes of Lok Sabha elections will be held on Tuesday, June 4, in which 800 employees have been appointed for the counting of votes of Shimla Lok Sabha seat.

He said that under the second randomization, randomization of 304 counting employees of Shimla district, 256 of Solan district and 243 of Sirmour district was completed on Sunday and counting parties have been formed in the second randomization. All these parties will be allotted counting tables before the counting of votes starts on Tuesday, June 4.

During the second randomization, Additional Deputy Commissioner Solan Ajay Yadav, Additional District Magistrate (Protocol) Shimla Jyoti Rana, Shimla District Information Science Officer Pankaj Gupta, Tehsildar Election Shimla Rajendra Sharma along with other officers of Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur districts also registered their presence.

It is worth noting that 71.26 percent voting has been recorded in Shimla Lok Sabha seat. In which the highest voting was recorded in Sirmaur district headquarters Nahan and the lowest voting was recorded in Kasumpti assembly constituency of Shimla district.

Shimla (reserved) Lok Sabha constituency returning officer and Shimla district election officer Anupam Kashyap told that a total of 71.26 percent voting was recorded in seventeen assembly constituencies of Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur districts under Shimla Lok Sabha seat.

He said that a total of 13 lakh 46 thousand 369 voters are registered under Shimla Lok Sabha seat, out of which 6 lakh 91 thousand 889 are male voters and 6 lakh 55 thousand 921 are female voters.

He said that a total of 2083 polling stations were set up by the Election Commission to conduct successful voting under Shimla Lok Sabha seat.He said that the voting process was conducted in a transparent and peaceful manner by the security personnel in all 2083 polling stations.
