Shimla, July 21: A case has come to light of a person calling Congress Karyakartas posing as a fake personal security officer (PSO) of Himachal Pradesh’s honourable Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The accused person was threatening and using abusive language by claiming to be the PSO of Chief Minister Sukhu. This was revealed when the news reached Abhishek Sharma, the PSO deployed for the security of the Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
When PSO Abhishek Sharma called the accused and talked to him, he was also stunned because the accused introduced himself to him as the Chief Minister’s PSO. After this, the Chief Minister’s PSO Abhishek Sharma lodged an FIR against the accused in Chotta Shimla Police Station. Shimla Police has now started searching for the accused and arresting him. Chotta Shimla Police has said that they will soon arrest the accused after examining his mobile CDR.
In a complaint to Chotta Shimla police, Chief Minister Sukhu’s Personal Security Officer (PSO) Abhishek Sharma of village Mandlian, Tehsil Rakkar, District Kangra said that on July 12, he received a call from a Congress party karyakarta and he informed that a person is calling Congress workers from mobile number 98054-00055 and is introducing himself as Chief Minister Sukhu’s PSO Abhishek Sharma. Also, the accused is using abusive language and trying to intimidate.
Abhishek Sharma told in the complaint that when he spoke on the above mentioned mobile number, the person told him that he is the PSO of the Chief Minister, Abhishek, and he is a resident of village Bela in Nadaun, the home constituency of the Chief Minister. According to the complainant, the accused also said that he is posted in the fourth battalion of the police, Jangal Beri.
On the complaint of the Chief Minister’s PSO Abhishek Sharma, an FIR has been lodged against the accused in Chotta Shimla police station under section 204 and 351(2) of the BNS.
