This information was given by the spokesperson of the Election Department here. He said that the state excise and taxation, police and other departments have seized 356195 liters of liquor worth Rs 5.12 crore.

The spokesperson said that the police department has so far seized 27 kg of hashish worth Rs 53.8 lakh, 1.40 kg of heroin worth Rs 97.82 lakh and cash worth Rs 21.66 lakh. He said that so far gold and silver jewelery worth about Rs 3.35 lakh has also been seized.
