Nahan, November 12: Sad news has been received about the death of Satya Parmar, daughter-in-law of Himachal Pradesh’s founder Dr. YS Parmar and daughter of former late Chief Minister Thakur Ramlal. Satya Parmar, wife of former MLA Kush Parmar of Nahan and Paonta Sahib Assembly Constituency, breathed her last on Tuesday morning at the age of 70.
Satya Parmar, daughter of Thakur Ram Lal, who was formerly the Chief Minister of Himachal and Governor of Andhra Pradesh, was a senior Congress leader in Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, she was also the Vice President of Himachal Pradesh Women’s Social Welfare Board during the tenure of the former Congress government. Late Satya Parmar was a big face of the Women’s Congress of Himachal Pradesh.
Late Satya Parmar always stood with her husband Kush Parmar as a strong pillar in his political life. She was the aunt of Himachal Pradesh Education Minister Rohit Thakur.
