RS Bali announces the introduction of Computer Science classes at Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College Nagrota from next year
Nagrota, November 21: Tourism Corporation Chairman Cabinet Rank RS Bali said that Computer Science classes will begin in Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College Nagrota from next year.
Tourism Corporation Chairman RS Bali, who was the chief guest at the Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College’s annual festival in Nagrota on Wednesday, said that an auditorium will be built at a cost of Rs 5 crore so that trainees can get better facilities for cultural programs and seminars. An indoor gym will also be built in the college. Along with this, he announced to provide 50 computers and 20 street lights in the first phase for the computer center in the college.
He directed the department to install two hand pumps in the hostel. He said that the Tourism Department will also take effective steps for a grand clock tower and beautification in the college. He said that this engineering college of Nagarota is making its own identity in the country and the state today. The youth coming out from here are working in the country and abroad, for this all the professors deserve congratulations. He said that under the guidance of the successful Chief Minister of the state, many decisions are being taken to strengthen professional education in the state. He said that by getting professional education, the youth can make a better future for themselves.
He said that ‘Vikas Purush’ late GS Bali opened Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College after tireless efforts so that the youth can get better facilities of higher education.
He said that Urban Health and Wellness Center has been built in Ward No. 6 of Nagarota Bagwan, so that people will get the facility of treatment near home.
Earlier, Principal of Engineering College Dr. Deepak Kumar Bansal welcomed the chief guest and presented the annual report of the college and gave information about the annual activities of the college. The students of Engineering College presented many captivating cultural programs.
The chief guest also rewarded the meritorious students and participating students. On this occasion Block Congress President Mansingh, Block Congress Vice President Pratap Riad, General Secretary Arun Katoch, Xen PWD Rajeev Sharma, Xen IPH Vivek Thakur, Xen Electricity Department Kamal Chaudhary, BMO Dr. Ruby Bhardwaj and other officers were present.
