On Saturday, a meeting of leaders and strategists of Shimla Urban Congress was organized at Rajiv Bhawan, Himachal Pradesh Congress Party Headquarters, Shimla, in which Shimla Lok Sabha in-charge and Education Minister Rohit Thakur as well as Shimla Urban MLA Harish Janartha registered their presence.

Shimla Lok Sabha in-charge Rohit Thakur said in the meeting that the Congress party will perform brilliantly and achieve a unilateral victory in four Lok Sabha seats and six assembly seats of Himachal Pradesh.
He said that earlier during the by-elections held in Himachal Pradesh, there was a double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party at the Center and Himachal Pradesh, but the Bharatiya Janata Party had to face a crushing defeat and the same is going to happen in the Lok Sabha and by-elections of the year 2024. Vinod Sultanpuri will win unilaterally from Shimla Lok Sabha.
