Two people died on the spot in a horrific road accident that took place in Talikufar of Deha-Balsan area adjoining Theog sub-division of Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, while two people were badly injured in the road accident.

According to the complete information received from Theog police station, a total of four people of the same family were going from sub-division Theog towards their village Tali in a car in the afternoon. At around 2:15 a.m., the entire vehicle suddenly became the victim of a horrific road accident.

In the complete road accident, a three-year-old girl and her grandfather Om Prakash, aged 58, died on the spot. At the same time Ajay aged thirty-two, and Ritu aged thirty who were traveling in the car, were badly injured. After giving first aid to both the injured Ajay and Ritu at the local Civil Hospital Theog with immediate effect, the doctors referred them to IGMC Shimla in 108 ambulance for complete roadside treatment.

Theog DSP Sidharth Sharma told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that both the bodies will be handed over to the family members after postmortem is done at Civil Hospital Theog. Theog police has started the investigation process into the cause of the entire road accident.
